Persistent luminescence of transparent ZnGa<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub>:Cr<sup>3+</sup> thin films from colloidal nanoparticles of tunable size

We report on the fabrication of transparent thin films from colloidal suspensions ZnGa2O4:Cr3+ nanoparticles and evaluation, for first time in literature, their persistent red to NIR emission.
